These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Iris platform ("Service") operated by Iris ("we", "us", "our"). By using Iris, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Iris is an AI-powered service that automates job applications on your behalf. We submit applications to employer career portals using information you provide, including your CV, work history, and preferences.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Iris. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide. You agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile and CV
• Not use the Service to submit fraudulent applications
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account

4. How the Service Works

When you use Iris, you authorise us to:

• Create accounts on job platforms on your behalf
• Submit job applications using your profile information
• Generate cover letters and screening question answers using AI
• Access your Gmail (if connected) to detect interview invitations and application updates

You understand that applications are submitted to real employers and may result in interview invitations, assessments, or job offers. You are responsible for responding to any employer communications.

5. Subscription and Payments

Iris offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
• Fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

6. AI-Generated Content

Iris uses AI to generate cover letters, screening question answers, and other application content. While we strive for accuracy and personalisation, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving the information submitted on your behalf
• We do not guarantee that applications will result in interviews or job offers

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service
• Use the Service to spam employers or submit applications in bad faith

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of Iris after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
